I think; I love Apple, hence the pseudonym.
My tryst with blogging began almost 5 years back, and looking back- I marvel at how things have changed since then. From being a naive boy who was disgruntled with college and had just discovered blogging and social networking, to a soon to be graduate with a Masters degree, who has had an excellent time over the last couple of years in gradschool. Over the course of time, there's a lot that has changed- in the physical sense, from geographical coordinates to financial semi-independence, and an equal yet not so quantifiable change in my own self and my outlook.Yet, at the core, the values and the morals that define me- remain the same.
This leads to things I am thinking about right now. More often than not have I caught myself thinking about the importance of emotions and the need for expression. Somehow, I have always believed that the primary human need is the need for approval. Maybe it is self-reflection that led me to that conclusion, but it definitely is one of the prime needs, if not the primary one. Or as The Eagles would put it- "We're all prisoners here of our own device"

P.S. For all the fanboys- I love Apple, it's products and it's expertise in design. Yes, I am a self confessed Steve Jobs fan, only for the sake of his spirit.
