A sudden gush or emotions, ain't really love or care;
'Tis a bitter-sweet feeling, it's an unfair game.
The awkward silence and empty sounds,
The fear of being in love that brought us to this ground.
'Twas quite daunting, our train of thoughts
Approval we sought, trust we did not.
We have our weaknesses, and people we hide them from;
Fallacies, we sure have; accept them, we may not.
Oh this conflict of sentiments and rationale
Do I heed my head or listen to my heart?
